2024 was one of the most generous years on record for Place2Give. Highlights include the establishment of a university scholarship with Indspire through the CAED Fund supporting Indigenous students who are pursuing post-secondary degrees in mental health related professions, a national summit on mental health with the Hunter Family Foundation and Converge Mental Health Coalition and ongoing support for a photography scholarship at AUArts through the Steve Baylin Legacy Fund.

The Funds

 


A record-breaking year of deploying funds into our community. $2.4 Million was donated over 50 agencies operating in North America.

  • 60% of donations are multi-year.

Financial Report


Place2Give partnered with Calgary Rotary FoundationThe Winnipeg Foundation, and the United Way Winnipeg to secure matching funds for special initiatives like the Converge Mental Health Coalition Summit and The Huddle.

 


Working with companies like Sponsor Energy, Place2Give donors were able to pool their funds to support animal rescue agencies across Alberta.

 


In addition to dollars, Place2Give mobilizes volunteers. In 2024, 36 volunteers contributed a total of 432 hours to assist the Foundation in carrying out its activities.
